Hello, I'm stuck on the mission called Metallake where you're supposed to assault on a Indie Base in the Metallake system. All you have to do is defend the carrier the entire time. Until then a Blackship comes in and disables your Jump Drive preventing you from escaping the system.
Can anyone tell me a guide to fully defend the carrier and to complete the mission? I'm very stuck on this mission.

From what I remember you must support the carrier and let the fighters run the main mission of destroying the base.
That your jumpdrive becomes disabled is a scripted event and when the time arises you need to jump out of the system when the base goes critical you have to fly into the carriers hangar so the carrier will let you jump out of there.
