Remember the TV series Babylon 5? There was an I-WAR 2 mod called Buda 5. Does anyone know if the mod is compatible with the GOG's I-WAR 2?

Unfortunately it isn't - the scripting systems and game engines are completely different.

There are however lots of Babylon 5 ships you can download, including a mod which changes your base into Babylon 5. Very impressive!
There is also a B5 mod for Freespace 2. Haven't played it myself, but it does look interesting.

There is also a very well done freeware Babylon 5 simulator that is clearly inspired by I-War. Just look at this thing.
Ooh, nice! Thank a lot, this answers to the question.

Now please excuse me, I won't be around for a couple of weeks. I have to go... err... bobbin some lace!

I think you might be mixed up. There's two versions of the B5 mod, one for IW1 another for IW2. The IW2 version of Buda5 works just fine with GoG's IW2.

Not mixed up, I never knew a Buda 5 for IW2 existed at all. That's very cool they converted it.
