Hey guys, I'm currently having an issue with the game. I started replaying it last night, had no issues at all. Did the first couple of missions in Act 0, then warped to base and saved. I'm trying to play it again today and now every time I try to enter space, the game crashes. It doesn't matter if it's from my save game, from starting a new game, or doing instant action. It's the act of entering space, because I can do anything in the hangar.

The only thing I can think of that's different is after I exited the game, I used the EOCBinder utility to change some of my controls around, but would that cause crashes? Thanks in advance

Sorry, I forgot this forum was for both games. It was IW2. Following your advice about the configs, I backed up my new custom config and my save game and just did a completely fresh reinstall of the game. Put my save and my config back in the new install and I'm playing again without issues, so the config thing might have been the problem. Thanks
