So here's a question for people who have played I-War - has anyone ever managed to 'defeat' the fighters in the mock battle in the mission A New Force? I've never managed it. The two fighters drop your shields so fast it's usually over as soon as it begins. I have a much easier time fighting indie fighters, so maybe the commonwealth fighters are superior, or they have an advantage in this mission in that they don't get damaged, and so aren't debilitated at all by your weapons fire.

It can also be annoying when their scripted attack on a tug doesn't go to plan and the tug goes into LDS to escape and they chase off after it, sometimes killing it eventually and once or twice just chasing it forever.

I destroyed one, but they're generally too fast for you to keep up.

Use the WEP console, and the match velocity autopilot to keep your distance from them.

I have also encountered that script error.

The C-fighters are far superior to the Indie S-fighters. They're faster and pack a much bigger gun.
