I bought the game a few years ago and it worked with Windows Vista just fine, but then I got a new computer upgraded to Windows 10 and the game refused to start. I left it alone for a while now but I'm trying to fix it again (because this game is so fun)! I looked it up and I deleted the game, then downloaded it again but I got the CreateSurface error. I then tried to fix it using the atiumdag.dll download and inserting it into the files but now it gives me an error that says, "Unable to find suitable device" and it's instantly forced to close by Windows like the previous error.

Has anyone discovered a solution for that error? I tried looking it up everywhere and can't find a solid answer.

I have the same problem.
First I had a "CreateSurface for Z-buffer failed" and fixed it by copying "atiumdag.dll" file into the game folder.
Now I have a "Unable to find suitable device".
I've tryied almost everything, clean reboot, changing compatibility mode, run as administrator, changing resolution and color, disable UAC.
Nothing helped.

I will be glad if somebody know how to fix it.
