Hey there!
I just bought Incoming here from GoG yesterday because years ago i used to play this game for hours with one of my friends and it was great fun. I think back then it was packed for free with a new graphics card my friend bought. Well, it's not as much fun today as it was 10 years ago (or whenever that was) but it's still nice for nostalgic reasons. :)
Whatever, i have a question:
I know with my friend we used to play this with mouse/keyboard, but now i have a joystick and i would like to know if there's a way to map the Z-Axis of it to the "roll left" and "roll right" commands? And in addition to that can i somehow use my Throttle Control to accelerate/fly backwards?
It seems the game was designed that even with a joystick you manage these controls with your free left hand on the keyboard, but if there was a way to use only my joystick and no additional devices i would prefer that.
So can someone help me or should i get used to using the stick for aiming and firing only?
Thanks in advance,
Grombart / Grombeard
:)
EDIT 17.Feb 2010:
Okay, in the meantime i managed to get my joysticks Z-axis to work with Incoming by using Xpadder (Version 5.3 is freeware - google it!). Simply set up your joysticks Z-Axis there as left/right keys for example and it works without a problem. :) I couldn't set up the throttle to work right though, but that doens't matter that much, i'm using the "left hand" buttons on the side of my joystick for acceleration/flying backwards.
