As a fan of the Dreamcast version of the first game, it would be really cool if I could map this game to my Xbox controller. Has anyone figured out an easy way to do this for GOG games like this and Earthworm Jim?
I'm trying to figure out how to map the buttons on an Xbox 360 controller as well. I went into the Options menu in the Incoming game, but the game would not let me assign the X-Axis or Y-Axis of the controller. Is there a way to map all of the buttons manually?
anyone any ideas?
im sure i got somewhere about 3 years ago with this, but i cant for the life of me remember.... it was it something like if a joystick with the old connection was plugged in it changed the menu to allow you to access configuration with that or something like that.

Just ordered a bog standard usb flight stick thingy-ma-bob will update and let anyone know how i got on.
i swear my earlier hunch about menu options is coming from something; unfortunately i just ripped my old 15pin joystick apart the other day so cant test on my old rig in the loft! ><

All i can say is wow thats better! its a little odd with the rapid change from one item such as fighter>chopper>tank>AA given how they control differently. and i am still using my k/b for one set of commands but wow!
seriously get one for full enjoyment, i admit it has its quirks and stuff but if you find a cheapy stick somewhere and can afford to get one.

I was able to get my xbox 360 USB controller to work without much fuss. I think I had to change the up/down mapping to the L1/R1 triggers but other than that it works decently well.
