hey guys,
when i try to start in cold blood, i get an error message: "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002)".
any ideas?
the download didn't seem to be corrupt...
any google search just confused me more

totally forgot about the game until now.
all works well now. changed the multi display performance mode to a single in the nvidia control panel.

I got the exact same error on my EEE PC with a clean Windows XP. It turned out the system was complaining about failing to resolve partial assembly for Microsoft.VC80.CRT. The solution was to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86). Maybe someone will find it helpful.
