HI all,
I'd like to find out if this is general or not, ie has anyone here finished the game.
The problem I'm having is that some convertation options, described in walkthroughs and nececary to proceed in the game, wont show.
The fist was just inside car 2 and the Road Train where a technichan is supposed to talk about the maintence platform but doesnt. I got past this by telling the save file that I was in car 1.
Now Im stuck on Blowing up the refinery where another tech is supposed to hold a lever but when I talk to him there are no converation options.
So, anyone else run into this or has my decided to go flaky?

Are you sure you've examined everything or tried to hack/access everything? I think to access the conversation option about the maintenance lift, you need to open the bottom hatch and then try to use it (or use the computer again to get the info about the lift). As if the player knows about the lift but the character doesn't until he's used the computer again.
For the refinery, you have to have examined the gate at the end before you get the conversation option. I seem to recall being annoyed at that becaue I kept screwing up the fight with the guard, hitting the wrong button to shoot at him and losing a lot of health so when I reloaded, I just kept running past the gate & didn't let the character find out what he needed because I already knew it

I think so, I've checked a couple of different walkthrought and followed them without result.
What I do is this.
1- Look at gate
2- Talk to Kostov
3- Fight guard
4- Look at drill
5- Pull lever
6- Speak to techie

I seem to recall I had to talk to him whilst pointing a gun at him, give that a bash

That was the ticket, must have forgot or not realized one could do that, cheers!

no probs, it's one of the spots I was sort of stuck at, I keep forgetting the gun is anything other than a combat tool
