Hey

I got his from GOG some time ago and had no trouble playing multiplayer. I just bought a new computer and reinstalled this and now multiplayer is completely disabled. When I click on the multiplayer options, all the options are blacked out and disabled. Is there a way to get around this or download an older version which was functional?

MULTIPLAYER OPIONS ARE GREYED OUT

First, try to deactivate Antivirus/Firewall for IC.exe.

If it doesn't help try the following steps.

For windows 10:

1. Right click Start
2. Click Programs and Features
3. Click Turn Windows features on or off
4. Make sure there is a check in Legacy Components
5. Click the + to expand
6. Check the box for DirectPlay

For other systems try to reinstall Direct Play

I have the same problem. I've followed the above steps, allowed IC.exe through my firewall, and checked that DirectPlay was enabled (it already was). Still no luck here unfortunately.

i played it multiplayer recently but, it is slightly bugged, as games never appear on the list of available games. you have to select the internet tcp option and then write in the ip adress manually.
