Hello,
I have been having a problem with Imperium Galactica 2 that is to do with sound. When I start the game, there is no sound or music. This problem is in the menu, as well as in game, after I start a campaign or tutorial. I haven't heard sound or music anywhere in the game, though I don't play beyond a minute or two trying to find any sound before restarting.

As a note, a couple of weeks ago I set the environment variable SDL_AUDIODRIVER to "dsound". As in, it is called 'directsound' but I changed it to dsound, because that, apparently, is what it used to be for years until a relatively recent windows update. This was to fix a problem with dosbox, whereby there was no sound in any dosbox game. I had read that this fixed the problem and it did.

I bring this up just incase.

Is this a problem other people have, and is there a way to fix it. I haven't tried changing dsound back to direct sound yet, because no other game has this problem.

It seems that the SDL Audio Driver thing was the problem. I was really busy and didn't have time to test until now.

Just to make it clear. SDL_AUDIODRIVER has been put back to its original setting of 'directsound'.
This won't affect most people, only people who altered SDL_AUDIODRIVER in the first place to fix some sound problems with some other old games.
