I must say the menu screen looks beautiful in the new high res graphics.

However I have no other option but to sit and stare at it in wonder.

There is no mouse pointer, and no response from the keyboard, just a lovely revolving menu. Aw!

I cannot start the game.

(I remember from then original CD Rom game that it was necessary to configure the game in a setup screen before firsat time launch)

Has anyone had else had this problem, and can anyone help please? Running Windows 10.

I have had the same issue. In windowed mode, the mouse reappears as soon as I am off the game screen. I was really excited to play this game. Oh well.

This is a long shot but I recall i solved some mouse problems with Dungeon Keeper 2 (also an old game) by using the logitech mouse software to change polling rate/sensitivty. So depending on your mouse and wether you can adjust that it might at least be worth a look.

Maybe worth looking into:
Check under Device Manager -> Input Devices (Human Interface Devices) whether you have a 'HID conforming digitizing device' or something similar sounding (I have German language Windows 10 installed, it reads "HID-konformes Digitalisierungsgerät").

Deactivate that Device prior to playing, and you should be able to play without a problem.

Must be something on your end on my PC everything works..

What OS you have? Have you try Alt+Return see if it changes to full screen.
