So on Windows 10 the intro movie plays with music, and there are sounds ingame, but no music at all. I saw other people had problems with it too, but the recommended solution (mounting the game folder as an iso-image and turning off hardware sound acceleration) didn't work. I suspect it has something to do with the music being in .ogg format? I've tried converting the tracks to .wav but it still doesn't work.

Please help because the soundtrack for this game is fantastic.

noone can help with this problem. it is simply a bug. the game fails to switch music from the menu music to the ingame music and keeps running the menu music. that means that the script that is meant to start the music ingame does not do so. this is something that gog needs to fix.

i did however find a solution entirely by accident. i placed the folder(or a copy of it) on the root of my harddrive and then the music works. that suggests that it needs to be placed on the root to have music.
