Hello, I have some questions:
1- Defense of the territories
I have conquered an enemy GP and I am about to conquer a second one, I would like to know your advice on the troops to place to defend these territories.
Let me explain to you:
For the colonies I intend to defend only the capital because in my opinion I am afraid of losing control of the markets if it is conquered.
For the GPs already conquered, my opinion is that it is necessary to protect the provinces containing hardwood forests and especially the other provinces with mines.
And finally for my own country of origin except the capital city itself, I also intend to protect my mineral sources, but should I also protect all the coastal territories (and therefore the most dangerous in the event of an invasion)?
I don't know if I should only make heavy artillery for defense or only light artillery or even add a few infantry troops.
For the moment in my game everything is going well but as I am suspicious of this dear AI, I prefer to have your opinions about the forces to be placed.
2- Warships
Until now I use Raiders from as warships, but when the Ironclads are discovered, what will happen if I continue to make only Raiders and not Ironclads?
I mean, if I focus on numerical superiority with several Raiders can they get rid of the Ironclads, or are they just too powerful?
3- Diplomacy during a war:
I was in first place in the "Diplomatic Strength" ranking, and I was in a lower position than my allies in terms of "Military Strength", in short when I declared war on another GP one of my allies agreed to declare war on the other GP, so far everything is fine.
My question: Can being in an excellent position in the "Diplomatic Strength" (better than your allies') influence your allies' decision to join the war?
Or maybe I'm completely wrong and there are other factors to consider.
Thank you for your answers.
