Hello I have a problem,
When playing Imp 1 when im invading an enemy capital city the game freezes when I invade with a large army it freezes specifically at the diplomacy screen after when a great power is sending me an alliance proposal. Is this a known bug is there any solutions? I am running the game with windows 95 compatibility, 8 bit colour, and lowest resolution. My computer runs windows 8.1. Thankyou in advance!!

Not sure why you use the comp-settings....
I am running on W 8.1 with no comp and just (IIRC) default dpi-deaktivated.

It sounds more like it might have to do with sound as it is for this event only.....(or video maybe?)

Which would suggest directplay or directx 9.0c.....one of it (or both)

And no never came across this bug.
Care to make a savegame available?

(according to Win I am running 1.1.0.5 fileversion of imp 1 date 04.10.12)

If I start the game I use the exe not the shortcut provided, just mentioning it ;)

Are you playing in game music? (if so try switching it off, just saw those are ogg-files)
