New to this....how do I get this game to run full screen?

I assume you're talking about Imperialism 1.

- Go to "Launch Imperialism".
- Right-click on this.exe
- Go to properties, choose the compatibility tab.
- In settings check the box "Run with a screen resolution of 640x480.

from now on the game will start in full screen.

I'm having the same problem (imperialism 2).
Unfortunately, changing to 640x480 resolution didn't help.
Tried it as well in Windows 8 compatibility mode.

Any ideas?

Tell me your operating system and if you have installed Direct Play on it, I am running Windows 10 in 64 bits.

I reinstalled Imp 2, (excluding Galaxy gog) and in the gog launcher exe, there is an option that seems to be checked by default:

"Disable display scaling for high resolutions"

Try checking this option to see if it changes anything.

Hey thanks, all I needed to do was as you suggested to reinstall Imp2 excluding Galaxy, and it works fine. Thanks again!
