Just took most of the peninsula as rome and am getting hard crashes randomly. Nothing seems to trigger it, ill just let time pass and it will hard crash. Its happening often enough that im thinking of switching to steam. Any one else getting this?

Iv tried verifying the files so idk i can test this later but i play other more taxing games no problem.

test that your system can play the game music files... a missing codex or buggy 3rd party player will cause this type of crash whenever a certain song kicks in

I think i found them but don't know what software i need to play them. Could be the wrong files i found tho.

Its crashes March 1 495 over and over. Now unplayable. Tried clean install. Even grabbed it on steam, same problem. idk wtf the issue is.

It's called "Paradox Interactive devs don't know the first thing about quality control." Many people are in the same boat as you across all of the titles they develop due to PI's incompetence. You'll just have to play the "wait and see if they fix it" game.
