After I finally installed the Game I tried to launch it at first I got an error like this:
error while loading shared libraries: libgconf-2.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
however I fixed this by installing
sudo pacman -S gconf
but now the game crashes(or just dont start) if I click on "Play" in the launcher.
It does not even print out an error messange or something simmilar
I have an amd CPU and an Nvidia GPU with the latest drivers.

Looks like this was fixed with the new update 1.4.
However there is still a bug that water and trees are not displayed.
It seems to be a Linux wide problem(also see the thread in the Paradox Forum(forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/debian-10-gnu-linux-the-whole-map-appears-blue-1-4-archim edes.1369570/#post-26432804)

For the bug with no water on the map there is a workaround:
