I'm trying to play in multiplayer with my friend but our versions are different, his version is 112c and mine is ee6e, we both tried updating but it seems we cannot succeed in matching our checksum, anyone with the same checksum?

112c (sulla) is the current Gog version...

at this point two things are needed;
1. you must both have the same game... Paradox can play gog & gog can play other gog but steam can't play against gog at this time

2. you must both have the same build to sync your games i.e, I have to change from english to play against my Polish mate but I know what the buttons do and its an easy change to make (see screengrab)

update.
we both have all same files (except my dlc, but that is not an issue)
there was some corruption in my documents/Paradox Interactive files, so the solution was to delete the folder (not the save games in it but everything else)
