Owning a Russian DVD Version used as shelve decoration for more than a year, I was waiting for an English downloadable version.
It appears on Steam but in the fora I read complaints about the version not being 4.08, the one most used for online Multiplayer.
No mater how fanatic the AI may be, the online multiplayers seems to an essentail part of the experience.
*Can anybody confirm multiplayer functionality to be working in the GOG version?*

Yes, multiplayer is working, and you can patch the game to either 4.08 or the 4.09 beta versions quite easily.

Um, do you need IP addresses for Multiplayer, cause I see no servers....

One way is to use a game client such as Hyperlobby or Xfire. The other is to put in the direct IP from the server operator's websites

hyperlobby doesent find my il2- sturnovik or what ever he dont find it what i do to ? :s
