The universal patch was the new update. I have downloaded it and the game on my shelf shows no update now but on the top of the screen it still shows the red update box next to "My Account" . How do I remove this notice, I have tried everything?

Yeah I had this problem too - so did several others ... eventually it went away on is own, should've tried the refresh. :)

I saw the update notification at the top of the page, and it showed above IL-2 on my game shelf. I remember it used to show what was new when you clicked the title, but nothing in the files were flagged as new. I figured it out by comparing what was there with what I had on my backup drive.

After downloading the update, the update notifications didn't go away, and using the account refresh link only removed it from showing above IL-2 on the my games page (it still shows one update next to my account at the top of the page).
