So it's been a while since I've flown IL-2. Last time I played, I only played with an older version of the Ultrapack and enjoyed my experience. I primarily flew stock campaigns though.

Now I am getting back into flight simming and am curious which modset to install?

I see that there is a new patch 4.12 that seems to be incompatible with UP3.0 and DBW. Is there any reason to install just the patch and play 'stock" (without UP or DBW)?

My current plan is to just go the UP followed by DBW route and play SP campaigns. Is the 4.12 patch a better choice? It's kinda hard to tell.

Anyways...any advise/council from the community here would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
