Update: Nevermind, I snooped around a little and found the solution. I have one of the European boxed versions of the game so I needed an extra patch labelled UK specific (even though I'm not in the UK) as that area's file is corrupt with the default installation.

Original message: I've been playing the game with no issues until now but I have the 2 CD boxed version so I was wondering if this is fixed in the gog version or if anyone else has encountered this and maybe has a solution that may also work for my version.

Basically, in Wyrm's Tooth, on the top right of the first screen, there are some snow trolls and an exit to a different area. Once there, all you see is a door that is locked (and likely needs a key as you can't lockpick it, but don't spoil anything else about it), an exit to the world map (how I found the area's name to list here actually), and a cave entrance. Whenever I try to enter the cave the game stops responding.

I'm playing at 1024x768 windowed mode (without the widescreen mod) and only have the tweak pack installed with very few options (mostly the stacking enhancements, no combat rule changes or anything else) and the unfinished business mod. Any ideas?

I'll probably try to reinstall the game if this issue persists after I explore the previous area further (there seems to be a lot to do).
