I've found confused answers about these questions, so i decided to ask here:

1) Do paladins and rangers get bonuses from high wisdom on their priest spells? Or these bonuses are restricted to the priest classes?

2) Do INT and/or WIS affect conversations?

I'm asking this because i'm making my paladin the party leader, so i'd like to know if i have to put any point above average on these stats.

Thanks in advance for the help!

1) I would say not.

2) Check out answer 1.

Notes: It doesn't say anything about it in the guide I read. But I don't touch Paladins(Ew...)
I think Wisdom bonuses don't affect scrolls, just spells that the character actually knows.

As for conversations, if I recall correctly there are a few in the game where you'll have some additional options if the character speaking has a sufficiently high wisdom, intelligence, or charisma.
1) definitely not, only clerics and druids do
2) nothing important, you can dump int and wis to the minimum. In HoW you'll get one additional dialogue option for a little more XP if the person which approachs first (you don't start this dialogue) has 14+ wis or int.

Thanks everyone for the help. After a few rerolls my paladin got 18 CHA and 15 WIS (the minimum for the class is 13), but he is the dumbest character in the party (3 INT)...hahahahaha
