As the title says, is GOG ever going to release ID for Mac as well?
I think a Mac version was released in 2002, it would be nice to have one restored by the GOG team.

So far mac versions have (mostly or only ?) been dosboxed versions of DOS games,
not even Baldurs Gate available as of yet.

Old mac versions and releases are of no use.
Those were for OS9 and for PowerPC based systems, nowadays it's easier to get windows versions running.

If you just want to play and are willing to muck with Wine and wineskins and stuff, Icewinds should work just fine.
So far GOG hasn't really got their act together in the Windows games to mac territory.
I suspect the mac game sales on gog haven't been stellar enough to warrant a super high effort.

PlayOnMac should be able to get you up and running with this title.
Does anyone know if it runs smoothly in parallels? BG1 and 2 don't. animations are buggy and choppy so I had to reboot in Bootcamp to play (main reason to buy the EE on a mac! ;) ).
