Hello everyone!

I have a potion of clear purpose. It gives +1 to wisdom but -2 to constitution. If I use something to boost my CON, would the potion take away from the bonus or my base stat?

It's a permanent incremental/decremental change to your actual stats. So if your base CON is 18, and boosted temporarily to 20, the potion reduces it to 18. When the temporary effect wears off, or you unequip a boost item, your CON will reduce normally (to 16).

Damn it! I didn't mind using them in IWD 1 I'm probably not going to use those potions here. Thanks for the info!
