I'd like to share a tip for something I just discovered. After you crash, there is a boring beetle nest west north west of the crash site. Have your party destroy it. If you click on it after you destroy the nest, you will some swag and XP for finding Oswald's stolen stuff. It didn't occur to me to click on it before. I thought it just opens up the nest again.
