Started playing Icewind Dale and my impression is that the lines are recorded in better quality than BG. It's especially to be seen during chanting spells. Spells sound much nicer here

IWD was made from the same engine as BG1. It came afterwards, so it's only natural that the devs would take the time to improve on things like sound.
