Just curious if any one has tried the sneak attack option for IWD istead of backstab and what they thought of it.

Tried it and I'm not sure of if it's working right or not.

If I'm correct, you'll need to attack from hiding with backstab, while for sneak attack, you only need to attack from behind. But backstab does more damage,

If that's the way it works, then I favour sneak attack because it's easier to pull off.

With backstab you have to be in stealth and behind the target to pull it off. It does more damage as well. With sneak attack, you don't have to be in stealth and you don't have to be completely behind the target either. It doesn't do as much damage but it also cripples the target reducing its STR. Both are cool, but sneak attack is very nice if you like to micromanage. The only thing is you can't sneak attack a single target more than once. After you hit one, you have to move to another.
