It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

This happens the moment I try starting the game. The attached immages shows my error message that I get. Anyone else have this issue and know how to fix this? Is there an update that I don't know about or couldn't find?

Which folder you installed the game into? Could it be a protected folder (such as "Program Files")?

Anyway try one or a combination of the following:
- Reinstall the game into a non-protected folder;
- Run the game as administrator;
- Set the game executable to compatibility mode for "Windows XP SP3";
- Check your antivirus: it might be the cause of the crash, in case of a false-positive detection;
- Rename or delete the file named ddraw.dll in the installation directory.

Firstly I would try running it as administrator.

Its installed in its own folder. Its a GOG games folder. I tried deleting it and reinstalling it same issue. I went step by step of all your options and all have failed :(

That's a common Windows 10 error and is most often related to missing prerequisites like .NET, DirectX libraries or something similar. It can also be caused by insufficient permissions, so start the game as administrator. But first, before you do anything else, a simple reboot should be performed.
There was an option on Win10 ..From an other topic..

1. Open Control Panel
2. Open Programs and Features
3. Choose "Turn Windows Features on or off"
4. Check Legacy Components and DirectPlay

EDIT: Added the actual fix.
