Also, if you find that your party is too weak to win and you need to tweak your character's, the Dalekeeper program for IWD can "tweak" your group to your liking. I don't believe in cheats, but it did help me get past a certain point in the game, and allowed me to rename one of my characters in honor of my wife. It still be downloaded at various sites like http://www.mud-master.com/dalekeeper/index.html The site also has Gate Keeper and Shadow Keeper for BG and BG2. I haven't tried with GOG games and I only used Dale Keeper because IWD is unforgiving if you don't choose wisely with your team.
