In icewind Dale 2 the EXP system is really really bad. As you level up you get less and less exp the lower level the monster is below you. But you fight roughly the same level monsters for a long time so leveling will start to go slow....My mod gives a fixed amount of xp for every monster level. Pretty much the same as BG1, BG2, IWD1. So it just implements a classic exp gain system.

Right now the version i have out gives kind of alot of xp so you get to like level 16 after you finish aurils ice temple with a party of 3. I havent tested it with a party of 6 but i imagine its like level 10. I recommend you play with this mod on insane cause it gives a good bonus for fighting extremely hard monsters.

Alright enjoy and tell me what you think www.sorcerers.net

I will understand if you can't be bothered, but... recently I was browsing through the mods at sorcerers and specifically trying the XP ones, and what I was thinking is... that what mattered to me was the top level reached on a no-ECL party of 6 by reaching the Guardian.

It's really cool and stuff what you say with the XP stabilizers, actually a sane person would think it DID work that way, but in the end what matters if you're leveling faster or not. In the Temple of Elemental Evil, max level was 10. I wonder how it would be to reach 30 or 10 by guardian.
