I was wondering if the GOG version of this game supported LAN multiplayer.
I had bought this game a year or so back in a a compltete pack, but could never get that part of it working. I have Windows 7 so I don't know if that's the problem, but any info would be great.

Any info you said? Well, me and my niece got two notebooks with Windows 7 installed. Also Icewind Dale Trilogy (not from GOG.com, though, but DVD Icewind Dale Saga from CD Projekt [Poland edition]) installed as well. We don't overcomes any problems here playing multiplayer LAN by serial cable. But you must manually setup connection or otherwise Windows 7 default will not work (that was in our case). Set the proper port in-game menu and play. Just, as I say, don't forget set this port in Windows 7 Control Panel. For example set port 14400 in Control Panel -> Connection/Internet Settings. In Icewind set also port 14400 and play. There is others forms of connection between two computers (via radio link etc.) this is most proficient for us.
