Everytime I try to start a multiplayer game (TCP/IP), the game crashes to the desktop. I click Start Game and it immediately minimizes and I have to turn it off from task manager. However, it DOES work when it is in windowed mode. I have tried compatibility mode, run as admin, all 5 of the other check boxes, and still nothing.

I have also sent a support request to GOG but no response as of yet. It takes them several days to respond.

Any other suggestions?

It's a known problem with the IE games on modern systems. BG1+2 also suffer from it. You can switch to full screen after you've loaded the multiplayer game (if IWD supports the switch between windowed and full screen in game, I don't know that for sure).
