dblade: -gog installer
-widescreen mod
-fixpack
-unfinished business
-1ppv2.70 all current components
-1ppv3 avatar fixes
-1pp flaming swords
-1pp animation fixes for IWD:TotLM
If I understand correctly 1ppv2.70 already includes flaming swords, so mine goes like this:

- Fixpack v1
- Unfinished Business v5
- Item Upgrade v3
- 1pp Extended palette
- 1pp Animation Fixes v1 [It failed to install component 2, so you should move it down after Dwarven female avatars and it works, I'm not installing component 3]
- 1pp v2.70
- 1pp Avatar fixes v3
- 1pp Dwarven Female Avatars [This one HAS to be installed after 1pp v2.7]
- 1pp HQ Music v1
- Widescreen

The thing is not sure about "animation fixes". I know you can install its first component (battle sounds) without problems, and I know installing its 3rd component (BG1/IWD animations) would replace using 1pp v2.70; 1pp Avatar fixes v3 and 1pp Dwarven Female Avatars, but I'm not sure about the second component (battle stance animations fix) if it should go after/before other mods or if it breaks them.

I have a question.

I read everything here mostly.

I install the fix pack. It starts, works for like 5 seconds and quits. I don't know if this is intended or not. Because in the BG 1 fix pack it worked different.

Or the steps of installing the mods are the wrong? Do I need to install the fix pack first?

Thank you for the answer, solved all of my problems. I tried a few different ways last night how to mod it and seems the fix pack is the first.
I evrybody.
I'm new on GOG and i just buy Icewind dale.

Unfortunely, the game crash just after i lauch it.

At the beginning screen, i clic on new game, then Full game.
At this moment the game crash when i put "done".

Can someone help me ?
Auril's Bane is a fun mod, with some interesting new content, and some encounters have been added and/or beefed up.
It has one or two unbalancing items, though, like an armour that makes its wearer regenerate HP.
Overall highly recommended, but perhaps not for a first playthrough.

The IWD1 NPC Project was a mod I had high hopes for after the excellent BG1 NPC Project mod. Unfortunately it's not nearly as well written, and the voice acting is rather weak. Overall the writing feels too modern and too feminine for my taste. But to be fair it's a one woman project, unlike the BG1 project that was a group effort.

@ gmtash - Have you posted your finding on the SHS forum? I'm sure the mod maintainer would like to know.
Hi All,

Sorry if my question will sound silly, but what location should I extract Widescreen mod, unfinished business and fix pack to? The mod installer seeks for a location that does not exist so I think I have to browse destination folder manually.

Thanks in advance

Run them in your IWD installation folder. That's the location you're looking for.
Are there any mods for Icewind Dale (original) that let you create characters with BG 2 style class specialties (ie berserker, assassin, cavalier, etc)?

Sadly, after installing the widescreen mod, I get a Runtime Error reported as an "abnormal program termination" in IDMain.exe. This occurs when making a character.

Any help, please.

here's the tweakpack. http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?app=downloads&showcat=40

the URL on the website is incorrect, you just had to remove a part of the URL in the beginning that wasn't supposed to be there.
