It is likely that I may buy this game, but I just have a question about resolutions. Most of these types of games tend to run best in a window (I have a 1920x1200 monitor) as running them in fullscreen just hurts and looks ugly.

However, seeing as IWD2 is rather older than some, what is the maximum and minimum resolutions that this game supports. I ask for minimum also as I may end up playing it on a netbook if the maximum resolution in a window is too small for me.

The widescreen mod is pretty damned awesome and ideal for netbook usage, you can set the res to 1024x600 and be off and running in minutes

The only issue with the widescreen mod with IWD2 is that it doesn't move the at the bottom of the screen, so it stays off to the left. It's perfectly usable, just looks a bit odd is all.

So I downloaded the widescreen mod into the IWD 2 game folder, followed the steps in the dos screen and changed the resolution, it says everything was done correctly but when I open the game again it's still in the 800x600 resolution. I don't know what else to do.

So does the widescreen mod show up in the WieDU.log?
Did you actually start a game? Because the options & party creation screens don't go widescreen.
