Is the Lucky Scimitar (sold by Conlan in Kuldahar) not working for anyone else? For me, it just adds the Luck icon to the character portrait, but the character using it doesn't actually gain the THAC0 bonus nor the saving throw bonuses that one should gain from the Luck spell.

According to the patch notes, this should have been fixed in 1.41 (the GOG version is 1.42 apparently).

I just spent about 10 minutes beating on some lizardmen to test it and I didn't get a single 1 over the course of a hundred or so attacks (I did get a whole lot of 20s, though) - so I guess the Luck bonuses might indeed be factored into the rolls instead of explicitly being displayed on the character screen. Thanks for pointing that out, Kmonster! :)
