Hi all, hopefully someone has a solution. I just verified/repaired my game installation folder WITHOUT making a back up for my characters, wasn't thinking about it at the time how stupid it was. Was having problems launching the game and figured that might do the trick, afterwards I discovered all of my saves and characters were gone.

Is there any way to get back the lost progress? I noticed this game does not have cloud saves. I guess I could use Dale keeper or something similar, but that would still not bring back my original chars...sucks. Thanks

If you're referring to the original classic version, then Galaxy has removed your saves and characters permanently, since they reside inside the installation folder. If you are referring to IWD:EE, then they will be found in your documents folder.

Sorry I was referring to IWD: EE and you're absolutely correct, wasn't looking in the proper section of documents under "game saves". Thank you for the help!
