Anybody figured this out yet or am I missing something?

I own BG1&2, and BG1: EE, IWD 1&2 and have previously figured out how to enable the cheat console on each version,
but I can't seem to figure this out. perhaps you can't enable the cheat console? Apparently people with the steam version
can, but I don't know enough about the difference in versions or whatever. any thoughts?

I can't check it here, but it looks like you've got to add a line in the baldur.ini file first.
- Go to your Documents folder and look for \Icewind Dale - Enhanced Edition
- There should be the file baldur.ini (or search for it with Windows' search function)
- Open it with any text editor
- and add the following lines after the line that says "INSERT INTO options ROWS ("
'Program Options', 'Debug', '1',
'Program Options', 'Debug Mode', '1',
- Save and start the game.

Ctrl+Spacebar should open the console now.
Someone in from the Steam Community stated that all the old codes you can find online work, but you have to replace "CHEATERSDOPROSPER:" or "GETYOURCHEATON:" with just "C:"

OK. That enabled the cheat console to pop up. However, when I try to give a commande (i.e.: C:AddGold(1000) ) it just states Active Stack:
