Decided today I'd like to play some old stuff, but Icewind Dale does not start on my Mac. No error message appears. Does anyone know where the problem is and if there is a way around?
By the way: same problem applies to BG:TOS and BG2C.

OS X Catalina (10.15) shipped without working 32 bit support. I can't tell from the store page whether Icewind Dale for OS X is 64-bit, but I can tell that Icewind Dale for Windows is 32-bit. I would expect that Icewind Dale for OS X is also 32-bit.

https://www.macgamerhq.com/opinion/32-bit-mac-games/ seems to suggest I am wrong, but perhaps your installed copy predates Beamdog updating for 64-bit support. If you follow the diagnostic documented there, what do you see? Does it say your game is 64-bit?
