I made a Paladin of Helm with a LG Human. I took 2 levels of Paladin then took 11 more in Fighter. Around level 10 fighter I noticed that her lay on hands, smite evil, and protection from evil powers did not refresh on a rest. After a few more hours of playing, another level and many more rests, they still won't recharge and are grayed out.

I do not understand this. She is still LG, and as a paladin of Helm there should be no issues multiclassing to fighter.

Any thoughts?

Has your paladin fallen? Been doing unlawful/evil deeds?

Don't suppose you're using any mods and the problem you're having is from a bugged mod?

I'm not sure it've even possible to be doing unlawful stuff in IWD2 unless you blatantly attacked an NPC or something. There's no dialog options in the game that would cause this.

Just throwing this idea out there. You didn't use a cursed item that changed your alignment by any chance? (Can't remember if there was such an item in IWD2 coming to think of it)

Good idea but no I checked that. She's still Lawful Good, no fallen status or anything. She still has her Aura of Courage. That works along with other Paladin static bonuses. Only things broken are her specials.

I am using widescreen mod and tweak pack, but I've used those for many play through with no incidents. Can't imagine why it would happen all of a sudden.
