Hi, I am running Windows XP and when I install Icewind Dale Complete all seems good until I get to trying to create characters for a new game. Everything is all right until I try to either name my PC or click on that "Biography" button, at which point the text input fields (where you type in a name for the PC or write biography details) are filled with '/ / / / / /'s and these cannot be backspaced over or deleted and nothing else can be typed into the field. I can create one PC with the crap name of "/ / / / / / / / / / /" but of course you cannot name the whole party such so I cannot really create anymore PCs.

Another issue I have involves the "Trial of the Luremaster" free expansion dungeon for HoW. IS this already included in the GOG version? If not then I see no way I can install such because the self-extracting installer for the TotL does not recognize the GOG installation as valid (does not register that IWD + HoW is installed).

Anyone have any ideas on this?

EDIT: I think I have solved this by just rebooting my PC (?). Weird bug. I hope I don't have to do this every time I want to play.

EDIT #2: I am assuming that Trials of the Luremaster is already installed in the GOG set up file?

Yes, Trials is already included. When you get to Lonelywood, you talk to Hobart Stubbletoes to start it.
