Is that a crap shoot? Either / or? One of those folders is for 64 bit applications and one is for legacy 32 bit. You can't just choose either/or on a whim. Moreover, installing to Windows protected folders is a main cause of games failing, since any data that needs to be written by games has to be ghosted elsewhere by the system, and older games just don't know how to cope with this.
