Hey guys,

Quick question, I heard that not all melee weapons can be used in IWD2 for sneak attacking.

I was thinking to make a Half Orc with reach weapons for sneak attacking.
More specifically the 9paces (or whatever its called) and Quarterstaves.

I've tried searching with google and only found a comment on the spear, but nothing about quarterstaves. Is there anybody who knows which melee weapons work?

edit: well i've tested a quarterstaff and a spear and it worked. So I'm fine.

While you seem to have answered your main question, one warning I would give is that IWD2 sneak attack can only ever be triggered once per enemy, and requires you to use stealth (flanking is insufficient). This makes it much, much weaker than in the pen and paper rules, and the Rogue in general is an extremely underpowered class as a result.
