Darvin: There's a fairly noticable difficulty increase. I like playing these games with a minimal number of rest cycles, and I found it very challenging to keep momentum without refreshing my spells between the major fights.
Yeah, I've noticed. It's feeling more and more like a mix between a WRPG and a strategy game sometimes with all the planning I'm doing to get through every battle. It's actually a refreshing change of pace from what I normally play - and it's helping me hone my tactical sense, which is fun! I'm really glad I'm pushing further and further into the meat of the game.

Everyone picked up their sixth level while fighting the southeastern camp (which was a lifesaving level, to be honest), and I did indeed give Sleight-of-Hand the Rapid Shot perk (which I regret not picking up earlier - I thought I already had!). In hindsight I'm also seeing that giving The Wanderer Entangle instead of Delay Poison would probably have been a better idea, but, well, hindsight, 20/20, etc etc.

Anything useful you'd recommend spending my cash on, aside from the occasional ammo restocking? My wallet's kind of overflowing with gold right now (over 10k) and there's not much at the Trading Post that looks worth it. I want to buy some potions, frankly.

I strongly recommend multi-classing fighter for 4 levels so you can max out your bow specialization. This will give you +2 damage per attack, which is a huge boost for archers which rely on making lots of attacks quickly rather than dealing a lot of damage per hit.

There are some shops with some truly phenomenal items for sale later on, so you probably want to have a nice chunk of savings for when you reach them. If you're low on healing, always remember that you can shift-click on a cleric spell (but not a domain spell) to convert it into an equivalent-level healing spell.
