with popularity of bg3
i think dnd games can sell more on steam

with the new unofficial mod
the Red Chimera Group(IWD:2EE)

i know at least 50 people gonna buy on day 1
so why not release on steam ?

It won't be released on Steam because Beamdog said they aren't going to change IWD2. I don't know if its because they can't or they won't.

The IWD2 source code was unfortunately lost, so Beamdog can't make IWD2: EE. However, there is a mod group that is painstakingly making an "EE" version of IWD2.
