Hello all, I have a computer with Windows 8.1 64 bits, nVidia graphics card, etc. I am having problems with playing Icewind Dale 2 because my cursor flickers to the point of making the game unplayable. I had the same problem with IWD1, but enabling OpenGL mode fixed it. Unfortunately, there is no such option for IWD2.

I have fixed the resolution scaling, and tried applying the IE Ddraw fix. The fix improved things somewhat (without it, all I got was a black screen), but the cursor still flickers constantly. I have tried all the guides I could find online, and I cannot seem to get rid of the problem.

Please help me fix this.

I know this is pretty late, but I suggest you try my guide I wrote here on the forums below. I had a similar problem:

same issue as yancho1.. I jumped the link alexw11 posted and its a blank page. looks like a 404 error page.. says the page is not there..
