In IWD2, my druid has recently taken her 9th level. She should receive Wild Shape: Polar Bear, and the text said she did, but it is not in her special abilities. What happened?

This can happen sometimes. After resting or at the next level up you'll get the form. It's not worth bothering or installing game changing mods because of it, just be patient.


From the README of Weimer's Icewind Dale II Ease of Use Mod Pack:

"There is a massive in-game bug that causes you to not to get access to new wild shapes you really should have until you gain a level and your number of wild shapes / day goes up by one."
