Okay, I am stuck at this point. I'm not sure which of my characters can really power through this part. I find my melee characters taking WAY too much damage during the Chamber of Stone, namely since they have to be unarmored and unbuffed during this challenge, so I'm just not sure how to beat this part. I don't recall if spellcasting really works in this area, namely summoning spells, so I don't know if my Cleric or Wizard can really make the cut.

My party consists of an Aasimar Paladin/Painbearer of Ilmater, a Shield Dwarf Fighter, a Half-Orc Barbarian/Fighter, a Human Morninglord of Lathander, a Human Rogue/Bard and a Human Wizard. Any idea which would work best?

The wizard should work best since he can simply avoid getting damaged with his spells but other options will work too. Make sure to pull the levers in the right order so you don't have to face more monks than necessary.

It's not important beating the 8 chambers, you can simply slaughter the monks instead.

Well, my plan was to actually beat the chambers and keep the monks alive, since I am role-playing a good-aligned party, for one. I don't like always going for the bloodthirsty, selfish options, even if there are no repercussions for such. Besides, I already slaughtered the Duergar in the caves for their cruel slavery.
