since the gog downloader isint wanting to start the installer iwent to documents and tryed to find the ice wind dale setup but i cant find it all i can see are CHUNK0 files any ideas plz help

I don't use the GOG downloader, but my understanding is those chunk files are supposed to be converted into the install files (either a straight exe or an exe and some bin files, depending on the game) once the DL is completed. I'd suggest trying to DL again through your browser instead of the GOG downloader.

I had the same problem with the GOG installer, basically i click install and it does a file integrity check then after that nothing......................... very frustrating

How long did you wait? On Win7, it can take quite a long time for the integrity check (sometimes several minutes).

Yeah i've sorted it i had to wait about 20mins which was worth it for Icewind Dale thanks for your help Coelcanth :)
